Thank you so much for your help!!! My pharmacy (ex), left me without insulin. They had my prescription nearly 3 weeks when I went to collect it, I was told that it was out of stock and I could collect it 3 days later on Saturday.  I went twice on the Saturday and both times the shutters were down as the shop was shut. I thought I could ride it out, but 24hrs after my last injection I started with DKA type symptoms. I contacted 111 and soon after got a text to call the pharmacy, which I did. Unfortunately the info had not been passed on but a very helpful lady took my call from a colleague. Within a few minutes everything was sorted. 15mins later I'm stood at the counter speaking with the lady face to face. She was helpful and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. She handed me the insulin and i was on my way home. By the time I got home my levels were over 30mmols/L and I was feeling ill.  I soon started feeling better a few hours after administrating a dose of the fast acting insulin. I'm not sure when I would have been able to get the insulin from my ex regular pharmacy.
